Tebogo Nche, father of Bulelwa Kulata from Kanana near Orkney, is shocked and disappointed by what he calls, “reckless and irresponsible conduct” by CSS Security company and Anti-Hi-Jack personnel.
With video footage seen by a City Report journalist, showing that on 1 August 2025, Bulelwa was among learners who were waiting for their transport next to the premises of the Orkney school.
While waiting for her transport to pick her up at school, Orkney Hoerskool pupil Bulelwa was allegedly injured by a CSS Security guard on her ankle and foot on 1 August 2025.
One of the security personnel allegedly threw a stun grenade at the learners which landed next to Bulelwa’s left leg.
Nche confirmed that a case of assault has since been opened awaiting medical report.
“Message from SAPS. SGT. MD Molusi will investigate your case Orkney ref nr CAS 28/8/2025.”
“As a family we hope and trust that the law will be observed. We are further disturbed by the unchanged behaviour and responses to sounds by our daughter since the incident.
“Whenever she has a sound like bang she jumps and sometimes cries at night. This is not normal and we have resorted to seek further medical consultation as we think she is traumatized by the incident,” said Nche.
At the time of publishing the story, City Report could not get a comment from the implicated security company.
