On Monday, 06 October 2025, the JB Marks Local Municipality announced that the municipal systems are currently offline due to power interruptions and technical challenges.
The public and all municipal officials were informed that the Information Technology (IT) Unit is working diligently to resolve the matter and restore full functionality as soon as possible.
During this period, all municipal buildings will experience system downtime, which may temporarily affect access to certain municipal services.
The municipality apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the continued patience and understanding of both residents and officials as efforts are made to normalize operations.
