His Royal Highness, President Tibisi April Motaung of the Fezile Dabi Civic Movement (FDCM), has issued a divine declaration outlining strict conditions for political cooperation with the African National Congress (ANC) following the November 4, 2026 local government elections.
The FDCM’s alignment with the ANC is rooted in a profound spiritual and political mandate tied to the legacy of late liberation hero, Fezile Abram Dabi.
The civic movement views this namesake not merely as a geographical marker, but as a spiritual covenant of selfless service, revolutionary discipline, and integrity.
However, President Motaung emphasized that this cooperation is conditional, demanding that the ruling party undergo a radical transformation to realign its current character with the noble virtues championed by Fezile Dabi. The FDCM’s non-negotiable demands include the immediate eradication of careerism, the elimination of political opportunism, and an uncompromising war against corruption within the ANC’s ranks.
“We are calling on the ANC to shed its current negative behaviors and adopt the revolutionary character of its ancestors,” stated HRH President Motaung. “Our movement will only walk alongside an ANC that purges self-serving opportunists and restores dignity to our people.”
The FDCM remains committed to holding its partners strictly accountable, ensuring that governance serves the community rather than individual political careers.
