MOOIDRAAI FARM — A momentous era of cultural restoration and unified leadership is officially underway for the National Khoisan Kingdom.
His Royal Highness HRH Tibisi April Motaung II, Principal Traditional Leader and Supreme Authority Leader of the Mooidraai Farm Royal Community, has announced two historic coronation ceremonies scheduled for later this year.
Issued in conjunction with his office as the Presiding Authority Head of International Relations and Strategic Development for the National Khoisan Kingdom, the announcement marks a major milestone for indigenous traditional governance in South Africa.
The upcoming inaugurations are moving forward under the supreme leadership and guidance of Supreme Authority Almighty His Royal Majesty Monarch Thomas Edgar Brown I of the National Khoisan Kingdom. Together, these events represent a strategic push toward community development and sovereign harmony.
The first ceremony will take place on 8 August 2026, coinciding with the 7th Anniversary Celebrations of the Mooidraai Farm.
This event will feature the official coronation of His Royal Majesty King Tibisi April Motaung II and Her Royal Majesty Queen “Mapakiso” Mohloki Rabecca Motaung.
In addition to the royal crowning, the ceremony will host formal leadership inaugurations. The Honorable Chairperson Senior Chief Teleki Taats will be officially inducted alongside regional Chiefs, Chieftesses, and Headmen and Headwomen.
Organisers note that this dual celebration cements the traditional governance structure of the Mooidraai Farm Royal Community and Authority, while honouring seven years of community resilience and growth.
The second historic event is set for 16 December 2026 and will also be hosted at Mooidraai Farm.
This ceremony will see the official coronation of Paramount King His Royal Majesty Stuart Williams Kok of the Free State National Khoisan Kingdom.
Scheduled on a day of profound historical reflection in South Africa, this inauguration carries deep cultural weight. The event signifies the strengthening of Khoisan traditional leadership and the expansion of sovereign unity across the Free State province.
Both ceremonies are expected to draw traditional leaders, community members, and dignitaries to Mooidraai Farm to witness these landmark chapters in the kingdom’s history.
“In accordance with royal protocol, all coronations, inductions, and inaugurations for both scheduled events will be officially led and sanctioned by Supreme Authority Almighty His Royal Majesty Monarch Thomas Edgar Brown I of the National Khoisan Kingdom.
“These events represent a vital step forward in advancing international relations, community development, and the formal recognition of indigenous and traditional leadership structures,” said Motaung II.
Continental leaders, diplomats, and government dignitaries will convene at a premier gathering to inaugurate a new era of African unity and development. The historic occasion will solidify partnerships between modern governance and traditional institutions.
